3 modes of Distortion

The MOEN Distortion Master effects pedal is designed to be better than any of its rivals with a switch to move between 3 types of distortion to suit the taste and style of the guitarist.

SCRATCH
This mode produces a hard distorted effect.

HOT
This mode clips the original signal asymmetrically to produce distorted sounds with warmly smooth even harmonics.

COLOR
Living up to its label, this mode produces a seemingly colourful sound with its tone left transparent through the distortion process producing a somewhat “vintage” tone.

Amp-Simulated Direct Output

The MOEN Distortion Master has a built-in amplifier simulator so the guitarist can play his electric guitar without the need to plug into an amplifier. This pedal can be plugged straight in to a mixer for live recording or noise-free monitoring.

True Bypass

The true bypass means that the input jack is connected directly to the output when the pedal is switched off. The sound coming in is totally unaffected by any filter or circuitry and it allows the guitarist to truly differentiate the effect of the MOEN Distortion Master effects pedal.

Metal Enclosure + Metal Stomp Switch

All MOEN Effects Pedals are built in a metal enclosure and uses a metal stomp switch to assure you that your pedals are of the highest quality and built with the travelling musician in mind. The MOEN Buffalo Parametric Equalizer is no different. They are made to withstand harsh floor-usage environments and being heavy with heavy-duty rubber on the underside, it doesn’t move or slide away easily.

Analogue Distortion

Like most of MOEN Effects Pedals, the MOEN Distortion Master is designed with analogue circuitry to ensure full processing and reproduction of the original signal without losing any details through digital sampling and processing.
